Goose Creek has several volunteer groups that work throughout the year at various activities and also plan events that are fun for all property owners, their families and their guests. The volunteer groups are listed below with contact information if you are interested in assisting them in an activity.

BEAUTIFICATION CLUB The Beautification Club is a group of volunteers that try to make visual improvements in Goose Creek. Money is raised by recycling aluminum for projects as well as their “yard sale” at the Rec Hall. They are dedicated to continue their landscaping projects at various locations around Goose Creek. They are very thankful to all Property Owners that support their activities, especially for saving your aluminum for Goose Creek. Without property owners, we can do nothing! Contact Barb Stepney at (573) 315-9183 or stepneyb@gmail.com if you would like to help. Beautification meets the 4th Saturday of each month at 11:00 am in the Office Conference Room.

POVA The Property Owners Volunteer Association (POVA) raises money for children’s activities and holiday parties in Goose Creek. They operate the Snack Bar at the pool during the summer and maintain and improve the playground equipment throughout the year. POVA also sponsors some adult activities during the year. They are always looking for new volunteers to help expand their activities. Contact Sheila White at (573) 358-2080 or (314) 402-9694 for more information. POVA meetings are the 4th Saturday of each month at 10:00 am in the Office Conference Room.

GOOSE CREEK GOONS The Goose Creek Goons are a group of property owners that reduce crime and vandalism in the community by offering a $1,000 dollar reward for information leading to the conviction of thieves & vandals in Goose Creek. Along with offering rewards, they are constantly roaming around Goose Creek to help with Neighborhood Watch and Security. The Goons also partner with other volunteer groups when needed for the betterment of Goose Creek. THE MUD DAWGS The Mud Dawgs is a group of Property Owners that support improvements and help maintain our community. The club will also donate money to events around the lake. They host a variety of fund-raising activities throughout the year to benefit Goose Creek. Even though they are a riding club you don't have to own a ATV/UTV or ride the trails to participate in our fund-raisers and activities. Anyone's willingness to help the community is all that is required along with a member to sponsor you.
